PayPal verification for ticket sales

If you would like to use your PayPal account for ticket sales, your PayPal account must be verified by PayPal. Verification can take several days after opening a new account. 

A PayPal account can take up to three business days to be fully verified, though the process can sometimes be faster or take longer depending on the verification method.

Note that only PayPal can verify your account. Please visit www.paypal.com, log in to your account, and follow the instructions for verifying your account. This may take several business days for them to verify, so we highly recommend verifying and testing a payment before sending out your event. 

Here are the steps to verify your PayPal account:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile beside "Log Out" and complete the To-do list to complete your verification.

Errors that can happen if a PayPal account is NOT verified:

• People are buying tickets, but they are showing as '0' on my event
• PayPal purchase error "Things don’t appear to be working at the moment."
