How to customize text on your event

To customize the text on your event, go to MY ACCOUNT > CUSTOMIZE. Our text editor works very much like common word processor programs, such as Microsoft Word and looks like this:

Please SELECT the text you want to edit then select one or more of the above icons to make changes to your text. Options are as follows left to right:

• Bold
• Italic
• Underline
• Left Justify
• Center Justify
• Right Justify
• Justify Align
• Numbered List
• Bulleted List
• Font Size
• Font Name
• Indent Text
• Remove Indent
• Add an Image
• Add a Link
• Remove a Link
• Change Text Color
• Change Background Color
• Remove Formatting
• Horizontal Rule
• Edit HTML

TIPS:

Adding Picture: In this area your image must already be on the web and you will need to enter the URL for it. There is another place to upload an image if you do not have your image online yet. Go to MORE FEATURES > UPLOAD IMAGE when creating your event. 

Adding or removing links: To add a link, type the text you wish to become a link, then click the link icon. It looks like a piece of chainlink. You will get a small pop-up that you must fill in with the link address.

To remove a link, highlight the text that has already been linked. With that texted highlighted, click the second icon circled below, which looks like a broken chainlink.

Changing text color: Highlight the text you wish to change colors, then click the easel icon. This will allow you to choose from several colors.

Changing background color: To change the background color, highlight the text you'd like to change, then click the paintbrush icon. This will only change the background color of the text, you cannot change the background color on your entire design at this time unless you order a custom design.

Remove Formatting: If you wish to undo any of the formatting you have done, highlight the text and then click the icon circled below. This will remove all of your formatting. Note this does not remove links.

Horizontal Rule: Click the icon circled below to insert a horizontal line into your text. This can be useful for organization if you have many pieces of information in your event's text.

Edit HTML: Click this button only if you understand the coding language HTML. This will allow you to edit the raw HTML for your event's text. This only edits your event's text, it does not customize your event's design using this HTML field.
