How can I be sure the Sendo invitation email I recieved is not spam or a scam?

We have recently received reports of individuals receiving fraudulent emails that appear to be Sendo invitations. These phishing emails are designed to imitate our communications and may look similar to legitimate invitations sent through our platform. These messages are not sent by Sendo.

To help protect yourself, please keep the following in mind:

• Sendo will never require you to log in to view an invitation.
• Legitimate Sendo invitations take you directly to the invitation without a login screen.
• All official Sendo invitation links begin with https://sendomatic.com.
• Before clicking any link, hover over it to verify the destination. If the URL does not begin with https://sendomatic.com, do not click it.
• All official Sendo invitation emails are sent from [e-mail].
• If you receive an invitation from someone you do not know or were not expecting, exercise caution and do not click any links.

The security of our users is extremely important to us. While we cannot prevent third parties from creating fraudulent emails, we are actively working with authorities, service providers, and others in the invitation and greeting space to investigate these incidents and help stop this activity.
